A. Input Device:-
It is an electronic device, which used to send or received data and information inside the computer. Keyboard, mouse, pen drive, joystick, track ball, touch screen etc. are the example of input device.
B. Processor (CPU):-
It is the main part of computer. It controls all the activities of the computer system. It stores computer software, audio or video, files, games, pictures etc. It is internal process of computer system.
C. Output Device:-
It is also an electronic device, which used to display/show data or information. It displays an actual result or information. Monitor, speaker, printer, projector are the example of output device.
Unit Divided into Three parts
1. Memory Unit:-
It is an electronic device, which used to store all the computer software, audio or video files, games, pictures etc. Hard disk, compact disk, floppy disk, RAM, ROM, pen drive etc. are the example of memory unit. Memory unit also divided into two parts.
a) Internal Memory Unit: -
It is the main memory unit of the computer. It is also known as primary memory unit. Without this memory unit, we cannot run the any computer system. RAM and ROM are the example of internal memory unit.
I. RAM:-
It known as Random Access Memory. It is the main memory unit of any computer system. It is a volatile memory unit. When the computer power switched off then all the data are lost of RAM. Static RAM and Dynamic RAM are the example of RAM.
II. ROM:-
It known as Read Only Memory. It is also main memory unit of the computer. It is the computer power switched off then the computer data is not lost of ROM. Programmable ROM. Erasable programmable ROM and Electronically Erasable programmable ROM are the example of ROM.
2. External Memory Unit:-
It is also an electronic memory unit. It is known as secondary memory, backup or auxiliary memory unit. It stores all the computer software, audio or video files, games, pictures, documents etc. Hard disk, compact disk, floppy disk are the example of external memory unit.
I. Hard Disk:-
Hard disk is the main memory unit of the computer. It is also an electronic device. Mainly, it used to store all the computer documents, files or folders, pictures, computer software. they come in various types of capacities like 80 GB, 160 GB, 250 GB, 320 GB, 500 GB and above.
II. Compact Disk:-
It is medium data stores device. It is an also electronic device Which is used to store computer software, audio or video files, games, pictures and documents etc. It is also known as CD. It has circular types. The capacity of compact disk 650 MB data.
III. Floppy Disk:-
It is simple or small data stores device. It is an also electronic device, which used to store simple or small computer software, audio or video files, games, pictures etc. They come in various types of capacities like 160 KB, 250 KB, 1.2 MB, 1.44 MB and 2.88 MB data. The capacity of floppy disk maximum 2.88 MB data.
IV. Zip Disk :-
It is slightly larger then a floppy disk. Which is used to store large amount files. It cal hold 100 MB & 250 MB of data till now. They are capability expensive & dabble. They have popular media for backing your important data in share is specially any banking sector.
3. Control Unit:-
It is also an electronic devices, which is used to controls overall activities of the computer. It is also controls and managed all the computer hardware & software.
3. Arithmetic and logical Unit:-
Arithmetic & logical unit consists of a complicate set or logical circuit & accumulator. It is mainly responsible for calculation & design (Logical comparison). This unit perform the Arithmetic & logical operation or, different types of data arithmetic operation includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division. It is also an electronic device, which used to calculate arithmetic calculations and logical operations. It define arithmetic (0, 1, 2, 3, 4…… , 9) calculate & logical (a, b, c, d, …………., z) operation.
